Frequently asked questions
- Does my animated avatar show on Discord?
- Yes, with a Discord Nitro subscription. Export the GIF at 256 px, then change your avatar from User Settings, Profiles. Without Nitro, Discord shows the first frame of the GIF.
- Which size and weight should I pick?
- The Discord preset exports at 256 px with an 8 MB size target. Discord displays avatars at 128 px at most, so 256 px stays sharp on high density screens.
- Are my photos uploaded to a server?
- No. Rendering, cutout and export happen in your browser. A photo only leaves your device when you deliberately save your project in the cloud.
