Terms of use

Purpose

These terms govern the use of PiloteFX, an online service that creates animated profile pictures. Using the service means accepting these terms in the version in force on September 22, 2026.

Access

The Quick mode is available without an account. An account (Discord, Google or magic link by e-mail) allows saving projects in the cloud, sharing creations and subscribing to the Premium plan.

Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for the use made of their account.

User content

Users warrant that they hold the rights to the texts, logos and photos they upload. Illegal, infringing, hateful content or content violating third party rights is prohibited; Ewan BERAUD may disable a reported share and suspend an account in case of breach.

Uploaded photos are processed in the user's browser. They are only sent to the server when the user deliberately saves a project in the cloud.

Ownership of creations

Exported images belong to the user, who may use them freely, including commercially, within the licences of the fonts and environments listed in the project repository.

Availability and liability

Ewan BERAUD uses reasonable means to keep the service available without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. Rendering runs in the browser, so performance depends on the user's device.

Ewan BERAUD cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the service or the inability to use it.

Account deletion

Users can export their data and delete their account at any time from the Account page. Deletion erases the projects, uploaded files and associated shares.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action; consumers may refer to the mediator named in the legal notice.
